On January 14th at 12:00 am, the Qingyuan Public Security Bureau issued a notice: At 9:19 am, a heavy semi-trailer tractor with license plate Yue RT2509 collided with multiple vehicles in front of it on the K2173 section of the northbound Qinglian Expressway. According to preliminary statistics, 19 vehicles were involved at the scene, causing 7 vehicles to catch fire. Five human bones were initially found in 2 of the cars on fire (license plate numbers cannot be seen clearly), The specific casualties need to be further verified.
According to the on-site video provided by netizens, the accident occurred in three locations, about a hundred meters apart. The earliest accident was a collision between a small car and an oil tanker, both of which ignited raging flames; The second section is located behind the oil tank truck and the car on fire, where multiple cars collide and become car discus.
