In order to organize the work of the Criminal Civil Cross Legal Department, the Working Committee of the Criminal Civil Cross Legal Department of Guangdong Legal Shengbang Law Firm held a working meeting on the morning of June 2, 2020. The attendees included Lawyer Jiang Wusheng, Vice Minister He Xiaobo, Lawyer Wu Jie, and Secretary General Zhu Jieqing from the Criminal Civil Cross Legal Department.

The attending lawyers expressed their opinions on the above topics and jointly formulated the work plan for this year:

1. In order to improve the handling level and cohesion of department members, it is planned to organize short trips for department members and provide two days and one night training in different places, to share operational guidelines for cross disciplinary cases between criminal and civil law with department members. All members of the department can voluntarily register and participate, with no fees charged. The initial schedule is set for early July.

2. We will carry out operational guidelines and case discussion and exchange activities for cross disciplinary cases between criminal and civil law to attract aspiring young lawyers to join our firm, with an initial schedule of early September.

3. Establish a normalized departmental obligation to assist members in negotiating cases, guide department members to raise their needs for assistance in negotiating cases, and arrange senior lawyers to participate in the assistance through the coordination of department heads. Strengthen communication and cooperation between colleagues within the department and the institute, and improve the acceptance rate of cross disciplinary cases between criminal and civil cases in the institute.

4. Establish a normalized case study mechanism. Guide department members to propose case study needs, and the department head will coordinate and arrange senior lawyers to participate in assistance to improve the members' case handling ability.

5. Organize charitable activities.

In order to implement the above work plan, the attending lawyers will further discuss the division of labor arrangement, draft the time and venue plan for the activity. I hope to strengthen communication and cooperation among department members and cross business departments through activities organized by the Criminal Civil Cross Legal Department.
