Lawyer Nan Fang specifically mentioned the additional task of the Provincial Economic and Defense Commission - the research on the legal risk analysis of autonomous vehicles. This task was assigned by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Justice and the Provincial Law Association at the end of March 2018. In order to complete this task, the Economic and Defense Commission established a research group consisting of 8 people, who went to the Guangzhou Transportation Commission and CRRC Zhuzhou in Hunan for on-site research, and also held two expert seminars, After repeated discussions and revisions by the research group, a research report on the "Legal Risk Analysis of Autonomous Vehicles" with over 30000 words was finally formed, which involves the analysis of civil, administrative, and criminal risks of autonomous vehicles, as well as China's legal difficulties and legislative prospects in this area. It is a heavy and valuable research report.
