On November 26, 2021, Guangdong Legal Shengbang Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as "Legal Shengbang" or "our firm") successfully held the establishment meeting of the Women Lawyers' Work Department. Yu Su, Vice President of Guangzhou Lawyers Association (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Lawyers Association"), Wang Jing, Director of the Women Lawyers Working Committee of Guangzhou Lawyers Association (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Lawyers Association Women Lawyers Committee"), Lawyer Wu Xiang, Director of our firm, Lawyer Zhang Yuquan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Lawyer Zhang Xihai, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Lawyer Zhang Pu, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Lawyer Yang Ruihua, Lawyer Li Guanghan, Lawyer Lin Xiqun, Lawyer Qin Jianlong, Lawyer Lai Yukang, and Lawyer Wu Hao, members of the Management Committee, Lawyer Wan Hailong, a member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Lawyer Jiang Wusheng, a representative of the Supervisory Board, attended the event. Members of the Women Lawyers' Work Department team, specially invited male guests Lawyer Lin Kaichuan, Lawyer Chen Siyuan, Lawyer Liang Jufeng, Lawyer Lin Bifeng, Lawyer Xi Sujian, Lawyer Lu Yuxing, and some female lawyers (including legal assistants and interns) to attend the meeting and witness the establishment of the Women Lawyers' Work Department of our firm. At the beginning of the conference, Vice President Yu Su of the Municipal Lawyers Association first expressed warm congratulations on the establishment of the Legal Shengbang Women Lawyers' Work Department on behalf of the Municipal Lawyers Association. He hoped that the Women Lawyers' Work Department would fully exert its grassroots combat effectiveness, live up to expectations, strive to become the industry leader, and always practice the original intention of "people's lawyers for the people". Vice President Yu Su encourages members of the Women Lawyers' Work Department to actively participate in social welfare activities, take the initiative to shoulder social responsibility, and strive to play a "half sky" role in promoting the development of the law firm's women lawyers' career and safeguarding the rights and interests of women in Guangzhou.

 

 

Director Wang Jing, on behalf of the Women's Law Committee of the Municipal Law Association, congratulated the establishment of the Women Lawyers' Work Department of our firm. In today's society, more and more female lawyers are playing an increasingly important role in various fields of legal service. They are not inferior to others and have taken up half of the legal service with their own characteristics. I hope that the Legal Shengbang Women Lawyers' Work Department will strengthen communication, interaction, and cooperation with the Women's Law Committee of the Municipal Law Association in future work, jointly expand the social influence of women lawyers, enhance the happiness of Guangzhou women lawyers, and better present the excellent image of women lawyers in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

 

 

Director Wu Xiang, on behalf of our management committee, congratulated the establishment of the Women Lawyers' Work Department. At present, Legal Shengbang has 294 female lawyers, almost holding up half of the firm's power. The law firm will fully support the work of the female lawyer department, hoping that department members can fully leverage the advantages of female lawyers in the legal profession, gather industry strength, practice social responsibility, and strive to build our female lawyer department into a brand, warm, and professional organization.

 

 

On behalf of the Party Committee of our firm, Secretary Zhang Yuquan of the Party Committee congratulated the Women Lawyers' Work Department on its official establishment. He encouraged all members of the Women Lawyers' Work Department to brainstorm and exert their subjective initiative to carry out practical work, and put forward three expectations: firstly, to abide by professional ethics and discipline, and standardize practice; Secondly, boldly explore and actively participate in political discussions, contributing to the construction of the rule of law in Guangzhou; Thirdly, maintain close contact with the Women's Law Commission of the Municipal Law Association, innovate measures, work solidly, and achieve good results.

The development of the legal system in Shengbang has been inseparable from the hard work of female lawyers. Lawyer Jiang Lingxia, as the first director of the Women Lawyers' Work Department, gave a departmental report on the establishment background, basic information, and work vision. The Women Lawyers' Work Department aims to assist women lawyers in facing work and life in a better state. Internally, the department will fully care for the physical and mental health development of female lawyers in our institution, and improve their comprehensive quality, happiness index, and practicing ability; Externally, leverage the professional advantages of female lawyers, strengthen communication and cooperation with the outside world, actively promote the positive image of female lawyers in our institution, and showcase their unique demeanor.

 

 

Deputy Minister Chen Chen, Lawyer, gave a report on the department's work plan. The Women Lawyers' Work Department will play a unique role in caring for the development of women lawyers, conveying their voices, and fulfilling their responsibilities. It will become an important platform for women lawyers to share experiences and impart them, in order to establish and enhance the good social image of our female lawyers.

 

 

The conference broadcast a video of lawyer Lv Yuejin, senior partner of Legal Shengbang, wishing him well. Lawyer Lv Yuejin believes that the establishment of the Women Lawyers' Work Department will play a positive role in promoting the long-term development of the institution, as well as the life, study, and work of women lawyers. Lawyer Li Jingyu narrated his personal career journey in lively language, sharing his thoughts and experiences from years of practice with the audience. He actively interacted with the attendees and the atmosphere was very lively.
