Lawyer Dynamics | Legal Sheng Bang Lawyer Zhou Zhuojing was awarded the "Best Student" honorary certificate of the first legal English writing training course in Guangdong Province
From January 23 to April 17, 2021, the Guangdong Lawyers Association, in collaboration with the China US Legal Exchange Foundation, held the first legal English writing training course to further strengthen the legal English writing skills of foreign lawyers in our province and enhance their practical skills.
From January 23 to April 17, 2021, the Guangdong Lawyers Association, in collaboration with the China US Legal Exchange Foundation, held the first legal English writing training course to further strengthen the legal English writing skills of foreign lawyers in our province and enhance their practical skills. The course invites Judge Hon. Gerald Lebovits, a New York State Supreme Court judge and chairman of the New York State Association of Supreme Court Acting Judges, as the academic director and lecturer of the course. Judge Jared Lebowich has served as a part-time professor of legal writing at Columbia University Law School and New York University Law School throughout the year, publishing multiple works related to legal writing, and possessing rich practical and teaching experience in the field of legal English writing.
Lawyer Zhou Zhuojing, a partner of Guangdong Legal Shengbang Law Firm, focuses on providing foreign-related legal services and has rich practical experience in areas such as daily legal risk prevention and control, cross-border investment and mergers and acquisitions, real estate business, and foreign-related contract disputes. In order to further enhance the writing ability of English documents and enhance the understanding of British and American legal documents, Lawyer Zhou Zhuojing signed up for this course and successfully completed the 10 week course. In the course, Lawyer Zhou Zhuojing gained a lot by completing online courses, after-school reading tasks, and paper assignments on time, studying the mentor's one-on-one feedback and Q&A documents.
On April 17th, at the graduation ceremony of the course, after evaluation by the Guangdong Lawyers Association, the China US Legal Exchange Foundation, and Judge Jared Lebowich, Lawyer Zhou Zhuojing was awarded the honor of "Best Student" for the course.
